Korean baseball fans have been waiting a long time for the start of the Korean Baseball season.  This was evident because of the record attendance for the 2019 Korean Baseball season.  Thus, a total of 214,340 fans came to watch the games during the first two days of the opening season.

Furthermore, the opening games were held at five stadiums with 114,000 fans attending on Saturday and 100,312 fans on Sunday. In fact, 4 out of 5 stadiums sold all of their seats. According to baseball news historical data, the largest opening crowd was in 2009 with 96,600 fans.

Only the SK Happy Dream Park in Incheon did not sell out all of their seats with 3,000 unsold tickets.
