Gangwon beat FC Seoul on the road and ran for two consecutive wins. The recent win proves that manager Song Kyung-Sup’s strategy was effective.The team once again proved its solid strength. Gangwon FC, who had won the first two consecutive wins, also beat Pohang and Seoul.
Gangwon won 2-1 in the second round of KEB Hana Bank K League 1 2018. The game was held at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 11th. In the 44th minute Park Joo-young gave a heading to the head, but with the start of the second half, Jeong Joo-guk was put in a flurry.
In the end of the second half, Lee Keun-ho’s heading swept Seoul defender Lee Woong-hee into his own goal, and in the 14th minute Jeong Juk-gook received a header from Jurgić. Lee went ahead of Park Joo-young, who joined the defense and cut it. The ball was bound to Lee Woong-hee and entered the Seoul Goal. Over all, it was a meaningful goal for Gangwon FC who is still on the running to get the top spot in the K League 1.
