Jeonbuk to host Suwon first

They will first host Suwon at Jeonju World Cup Stadium in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, on Aug. 29, before they travel to Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, on Sept. 19.

Jeonbuk are currently the leaders in the top flight K League 1 with 34 points, nine ahead of No. 2 Suwon.  The teams have played against each other only once so far this year, with Jeonbuk collecting a 2-0 win at home last month.  The two sides are scheduled to meet again on July 14 in their K League 1 campaign.

They reached the last eight by beating Thai outfit Buriram United on a 4-3 aggregate in the round of 16.  Suwon advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating fellow K League 1 club Ulsan Hyundai 3-1 on aggregate.
