The South Korean Men’s National Football team has a new head coach. After months of searching, Jurgen Klinsmann become the New Head Coach for the Korean National Football Team. He is replacing Paulo Bento who took Korea’s Men’s football team to the last-16 stage of the 2022 World Cup.
According to the Korea Football Association (KFA), the current deal will have Klinsmann stay through the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Furthermore, he will arrive in South Korea next week and will live there for the duration of his contract.
However, details about the financial terms of the contract were not made available.

Jurgen Klinsmann career as a coach began in 2004 as the head coach for the German National football team. While he did not win the a World Cup for Germany, he still has a good record with them. This is because they came in third place in the 2006 World Cup.
Despite his success, he chose not to return as the head coach for the German football squad. Instead, he became the head coach for Bayern Munich in 2008. Afterwards, he went abroad to become e the technical consultant for the Toronto FC in 2008. It was in 2011 that he became the head coach for the U.S. National Football team thru 2018.
