After a long flight to Abu Dhabi, South Korea is Getting Ready for the Asian Cup. The South Korean Football team is currently training for the continental football tournament in the United Arab Emirates. Thus, today they began training at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi which can hold 20,000 spectators.
For the moment, 17 members of the South Korean Football team are in Dubai which includes two reserve members. Pay Per Head Reviews said they came together early Sunday morning after a 10 hour flight from South Korea. In addition, they expect 7 more members of the team to arrive in the next two days.
Under the leadership of head coach Paulo Bento, South Korea expects to do well in the 24 team tournament. The 2019 Asian Football Confederation Asian Cup will be held from Jan. 5 to Dec. 1, 2019 in the UAE.
South Korean Football Team Roster Details
The final roster for the 23 player South Korean Football Team was made by Coach Bento last Thursday. According to football betting info websites, Son Heung-min, of the Tottenham Hotspur will join the team later in the tournament. This is because the 26 year old forward will be playing with Tottenham against Manchester United on January 13, 2019. However, this will not be a problem because an agreement has already been made between the KFA and Tottenham.
Thus, at the moment, the Taegeuk Warriors are preparing themselves to play in the UAE football environment. Furthermore, they will be playing a friendly match against Saudi Arabia next Monday to help them adjust. Coach Bento believes that by the time the tournament begins, the team will be able to handle the local climate.
Despite a few minor injuries by some of the players, betting experts believe they will be ready for the tournament.
The South Korean team is in Group C of the tournament competing with China, the Philippines and Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, they will have their first match against the Philippine football team on January 7 at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
